In MOTD highlights after Villa they said 26 out of 26, but I thought it was more than that. Perhaps this figure doesn't include cup matches. Anyone keeping count?

I don't think he's ever taken a penalty in the cup?

I'm fairly sure it is 26 though.

I certainly don't know better. I did think about tracking down all the instances of his penalty strikes, simply because I believe he hasn't missed a single one, and 26 penalties are over halfway to Matty's record. When the Beeb said 26, I was kind of relieved that I didn't have to bother.
