Yes but take note I used the word sometimes, perhaps it's his psychology with the players perhaps he doesn't sub people in order to keep their confidence up, sometimes though I've felt he hasn't made changes quick enough at the same time his won matches totally against the odds by making substitutions at the right the moment.

i think you could highlight every manager in world football and question substituions because its down to personal preference. i have to say, its pretty rare that i think to myself lambert should be changing this and he hasn't already. its happened a few times, maybe twice where its been glaringly obvious to everyone he should change it, but overall he is sharp with his changes <ok>

I remember the days of roeder when he would leave it until 88 mins to do anything and 9 times out of 10 it was the total opposite of what anyone would have expected.

The majority of the time lambert, in my opinion, makes the change the average fan would be thinking and about the right time. He isn't afraid to admit he was wrong and doesn't let pride, or stubbornness, get in the way of making a change early.

Fair at to him I say. Takes a lot to admit you are wrong, let alone to circa 25k at a time. I find it near impossible to admit I was wrong to my Missus
