Watched it all on Saturday and Thompson, not for the first time, was very dismissive of saints. Made Le Gods goal celebrations even ore enjoyable!

With Thommo and Merse I think they put more value in winding up Le God than putting in an honest opinion on saints. I respect Charlie Nicolas the most from that mob.

I don't know for a fact but I'm confident Ricketts had not scored 20 + goals for the previous 5 seasons.
Lambert has been scoring high numbers consistently for a long time and that takes ability.

And we all know it's not just goals as Lambert has been heavily involved in all 9 goals we've scored this season.

They are ****ing stupid. They don't have a clue

I'm sure I'll get stick for disagreeing with you but is scoring four goals in five games proving yourself at Premier League level, Michael Ricketts did something similar as did Dennis Bailey for QPR - I'm sure there's loads of others as well. I'm not saying he won't prove himself or that he shouldn't get a look in on the squad, just that he needs to keep performing at this level for a few months. Cue abuse!

No offence but extremely bad examples. Rickie has been banging in and creating goals for fun for seasons on end.

Merson said Rickie will struggle to score 5 goals this season......well 4 after 5 games,just 33 games left to score 1 more..
