Brilliant <ok> I know this might not be a popular view with some people, but I have to say listening to him ranting, raving, whinging and bleating on MOTD about one bad decision that cost him one goal in a game that his team got tonked five-nil in was the absolute cherry on the top of my saturday <ok>

Never heard him go on like that when he was our boss, and we had our fair share of bad calls during his time, so is this evidence that he's losing it?

Hope so <ok>

I think he´s quite clearly feeling the pressure Munky, it´s his bed, he´s got to lie on it!

I'm sure that the 8k will be short change when it comes to the the litigation against you guys, however unjust the final result may be

Yes, but we've got a 'counter claim' in against him!!!

I must admit the whole affair seems a bit 'he said, she said' etc. etc. and I'd be amazed if anything actually got decided anytime soon, it'll be one of those cases that rumbles on and then all of a sudden there's a strange decision and a club has to pay off it's old manager even though he's already left.

It's a Bonkers reality that football operates in

Totally bonkers.

Anyone seen the bit by our New Manager in the EDP today, interesting take on the Lambert era!

by the way, the comments at the bottom of the article are mind-numbingly stupid <ok>

why must some fans always look for a negative in everything??? hughton has said nothing condescending about any of his players <doh>

Some quite interesting and positive comments at the end of the article - not like the usual contributors predicting 'impending doom' on 'PinkUn'!! <ok>

I think that CH's comments reflect a lot of the posts I have seen on this forum during and after the Lambert saga and to be common sense. PL's methods were capable of getting and keeping us up last season. If he felt he had taken the club as far as he could and his managerial star was in the ascendancy then it is perfectly understandable that he took the opportunity to manage a bigger club for a bigger pay-cheque. If he had stayed and we had struggled or gone down then the opportunity may not ever come for him again.

Let's be under no illusions that if a certain Russian based in London gives CH a call this afternoon he will be on his way quicker than you can say yes I'd love a £5m per year contract. Loyalty is a quality seldom seen in football nowadays. Everyone is in it for their career and it is understandable if annoying when a manager you like and respect walks out for what he perceives is a better opportunity. Even if it does mean moving to Brum from God's own county, taking over a shambles of a team and getting neck ache looking up the table at NCFC!
