I think the time for blowing smoke passed some time ago.

Is the bullshit approach working? Of course not, it never ever does. There’s a big difference between putting a positive spin on it and being a fantasist.

I would be saying, “These players have got the opportunity to do something amazing here. I’ve got the belief that they can win enough games between now and May to keep us in the division. We’ve got a squad that’s together and we’re going to give it everything we’ve got.”

Not only are we a bottom three side, we’re a bottom one side.
