I believe he picked up a knock when on international duty.

He played at right-back in the last game, and by all accounts he did better on the left. Unless you're referring to the international games?

Thought Nigel said Fox got injured whilst playing for Scotland. Probably chose Yoshida above Reeves for his physical presence.

Thought he was a central midfielder. Pitching him in for a PL debut in the wrong position. NA would have been slaughtered on here!

I agree with a mix of the opinions above regarding our defence. Imo best CB pairing available to us is Yoshida and Fonte with Clyne at RB + 'somebody' at LB !
If Fox is fit then i would play him - he has been a weak link at times this season when we are defending but he has been a plus when attacking.
I would like to see Kelvin back in goal - i am 100% behind Nigel Adkins as our manager, but i dont see how changing the first choice goalkeeper so often helps. The young lad did OK but i wasnt that impressed watching the holie goalie at Upton Park on Saturday - imo Kelvin would have stood a better chance of stopping a couple of those goals going in. Our defence/goals against column hasnt improved at all since he was dropped - not that any of the goalkeepers can be blamed for all of the goals scored against us.

    Your're right about NA
Ben Reeves can / has played there, can pass and likes a tackle. Cant be any worse.....can he?
When is Jack Cork back by the way (Not to play LB) ?

He picked up another injury in the last U21 game. Not sure how bad it is though!

Come on guys, Luke Shaw is a prospect but he's not the answer to our defensive problem.

He had recovered and returned to fitness but picked up an injury towards the end of the U21 match the other day. One option that is being overlooked...considered we are considering youngsters and playing CBs out of position, is Ryan Dickson. Now I'm not for one second saying he will be good enough but he is still on our books and he is a LB. He must have gone renegade Puncheon style.

Actually thinking about it. I would rather play Clyne LB and Stephens RB. With Yoshi and Jose the CBs.

I doubt Dickson is in the doghouse, it's just that he isn't considered good enough. He didn't play in the championship so why would he be considered for the premier league?

Let's hope we get a couple of the injured back for Saturday. Lennon against Yoshida is a frightenoing prospect!

Personally I think we might have to look as far as the Swansea game for one we have any chance of winning anyway, so I'm sure we'll have some of the injured players back fit by then.
