Hmm me thinks Mr Neil may have made a big mistake packing Laff off to Turkey considering we only have 2 recognised strikers

I've been saying all season he should have been given a shot playing up front for us! He's been awesome for Norn Iron! The only area I have disagreed with AN's decision so far.

Think it's a case of square pegs and round holes with him and our squad at the moment, though I agree it would nice to have him as an option at least.

Hoolahan got an assist for Eire tonight as well. So happy for him that he is producing on the International stage as well as for Norwich.

Wrap him up in cotton wool. He is so important for our last seven games.

Tettey also got on the score sheet for Norway, unfortunately only a consolation in a 5-1 defeat.

I think you'll find a lot of fans agreeing with you EastEnd!!
Can't wait for Friday to come round and then the games come thick and fast until the end of the season!!

Yes, I saw that on TV this morning. Unfortunately, I don't think our formation under AN has a vacancy for him!!

I also don't understand why Lafferty was allowed to go out on loan when there is so much at stake. Wes and Tettey playing full matches is also a concern with Friday and Monday games coming up this week-end.

Yes RER and our schedule of games over the coming weeks is horrendous, with 7 games in a little over 4 weeks. At least it's the same for all of the other teams as well, but not sure if many have had key players away on international duty.

Brighton V Norwich Fri 3 Apr 15:00
Norwich V Sheff Wed Mon 6 Apr 15:00
Bolton V Norwich Sat 11 Apr 15:00
Leeds V Norwich Tue 14 Apr 19:45
Norwich V Middlesbrough Fri 17 Apr 19:45
Rotherham V Norwich Sat 25 Apr 15:00
Norwich V Fulham Sat 2 May 12:15

I don't see any particularly easy games in that lot, so AN will have to rotate the squad a bit I feel and heaven help us if Wes or Tettey get injured.
Also we're likely to lose BJ for a couple of games, as he's on 9 yellows!!!

Lafferty has so much baggage when it comes to causing disruption and friction with his team mates it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest that he was sent out to improve spirit of the club.

The cohesion and ethic of the players certainly seems to have dramatically improved since the start of the year. Of course mostly due to the arrival of AN, but getting rid of grumpy fringe players no doubt could play a part.

And managing to get Seb Bassong to throw his toys back into the pram was a bit of a masterstroke by Alex Neil, too! <laugh>

No offence, Cromer, and I agree that Bassong has been important for us since he's been back, but "masterstroke" is a bit of a strong description for 'not being Neil Adams'! :emoticon-0143-smirk
