Why don't you take it for what it is and let it go over your head! What's the point your not liberating the whole Cardiff race of 606 oppression and abuse haha

I don't know why people get so offended if I was on the Cardiffs board I would expect the same treatment. I have family who are Cardiff fans and I call them scum to their face and they call me a bin dipper it's just apart of the football banter and that's all it is!
I understand if there was personal insults directed at someone based upon personal looks, social class, race and views. IMO the context is too general to be seriously offensive. But I guess it's subjective how offensive something is, it's qualitative and can't actually be measured.

I find it far more offensive when someone is called an idiot for having contrasting views.

So I think the mods should express the rules clearly whether calling our bitter rivals scum is acceptable or not even if it's just banter and we must respect the rules as guest users on the forum.

unfortunatley your not ultra sensitive like alot of the fairies are on here, its almost like half the posters here dont understand what football is all about

Must be rugby fans

Sprucie baby - I don't believe that "name calling" is an indication of the level of support for your club - yours nor mine.

Your suggestion that it is is way off the mark. We are talking about forum rhetoric on here and the unnecessary use of offensive terms.

I'm no shrinking violet and haven't been for over 40 years following Cardiff man and boy - that doesn't mean there's any need to use terrace language on a football forum to support my team.

Although free speech for all within reason on here is an absolute right, it doesn't mean it's necessary to prove the extent of your support for your club by putting historic terrace chants into print. It only tends to antagonise and foster the hatred - that's only OK if that's the intention, and I expect it is for some.

I can give as good as I get and have done in the past - sometimes you need to grow up and let the chavs get on with it. <ok>

Yeah but i dont care what you think, not interested, your a stealth WUM plain and simple so you'll have to suck somebody else in with your words, a quick search through your posting history will confirm what you just said is total nonsense, hard luck better luck next time <ok>

Cheers Sprucie - I'll have to work on that stealthing - it's obviously not working if even you can spot it....<laugh>

Can't you pull up some tasty stuff from my "posting history" to put me to the sword, or are you all just hot air?

You're obviously not interested because you're not going to let it go. Such a shame to spoil a forum with such crap, but there you go. <ok>

Second thoughts on that though - perhaps that's just what you want on here eh?

Glad you admit i was correct! <cheers>

Why would i want to do that? you know your past and so do i :) or do you think you will get me jumping through hoops to prove a point a dont really care abut ?

As you well know i never venture onto your board,at least very very rarely a couple times a year maybe but i get loads of ****e on there when i do,genuine point made or not,it doesnt bother me i accept that im on another teams forum so what ever comes comes.

get it ?

Not shy lurker - I asked Valley because I just didn't expect you to be able to answer. Don't want you to think I'm ignoring you, so I will ask you then.

You said if I don't like a thread, don't read it. So how will I know I didn't like a thread without reading it first?

I thought you were all seeing all knowing, my mistake

Not admitting anything Sprucie - you see what you want to see and if you can't really see it, just make up the rest - that's always been the way over here. <ok>

Yup - Got it - I've really got no bother with it either - just seems so unnecessary all the time.

Anyway, have a nice evening in your caravan and not too much of that roasted hedgehog..............<laugh><ok>

Lurker - are you a stealth wum too?

..And it takes both sides to stop, something ive yet to see from them up at the Eastern block, ffs even the players were singing "you jack bastards ,we're coming for you " along with men, women and children at their own promotion celebration !!

even at their own celebration they could not forget or stop thinking about us, which is exactly why your holier than thou attitude is a pile of bollocks IMO.

What Sparkey said, I couldn't have put it better... do you really believe "they call you a name so you have to call them a name back" is the true measure of a supporter? Maybe in the playground. Or do you actually believe you're in the trenches taking bullets from "the enemy"? I think you're mistaking a "holier than thou attitude" for maturity.

having a dig at fellow jacks for stuff that is deemed as normal(no argument on the morals from me) is way off ,you should keep your passion for getting behind the team not getting at fellow jacks, seems like plastic heaven on here these days.

Who's having the dig? Questioning my passion for the team and calling me a plastic is just insulting but if it makes you feel superior then go ahead. I guess being the best supporter gives you the right to make assumptions about others.

There's us going through one of the most trying periods in recent years and all people are worried about is that us calling them scum and them calling us gypo's is wrong and childish !!...<laugh>

I really do wonder sometimes...talk about wrong priorities and so much for pulling together, which was what my origional point was all about, the fact people would rather talk about name calling kinda sums up the level of fighting spirit amongst the support .

It is wrong and childish - in life in general, not just on a football forum. Most adults know this. Pointing this out has nothing to do with not "pulling together". Priorities indeed. Plus it's one post/thread, not "rather talk about...". Perspective's another word.

The banter is fine, however should words like scum be used as a direct personal attack against a Cardiff poster they would be dealt with, as would a Cardiff fan posting personal insults towards Jacks.

Breezey - it was forced upon me - I am unworthy of the accolade.........<laugh>

Daimun - looks like "chavs rule" is the motto for some, thankfully not for all.

Looks like the logic is the level of supporter you are is dependent upon the extent to which you can abuse your rivals.

Sparkey
What was that **** you were coming out with the other day about a plot to remove Aber from 606 about?
You know the post, something about you and the supermods seeing through it.
What exactly did you mean?

Are you saying it was your lengthy PM's to the supermods that sparked the problem then?

Secondly, how do you know it was "****" if it wasn't you?

What did you mean by it?

Yeah I sent pm's to supermods, ask them if they want me to stick them up on hear? :)

You defend Aber to the hilt don't you Sparkey lad?
Tell me, in an argument over footie can you ever imagine writing that you intend to track down the person's address and come around to inflict violence and "**** your kids in front of you"...I'm very interested in your response

Because most of us are adults and left the children's playground long ago.....Its only a game...

Easy to joke when it's not your kids sparkey , I remember it vividly terror , don't blame you for going about this lividly
