Lack of goals / chances

Charlie Austin says hi!! Not discrediting Jela I really like him, but that's just bullshit mate!! Berahino would also be debatable too

 

austin is the better forward, he's in the positions, but not a better finisher

 

Have you ever watched him? He's lethal in front of goal. I'd say he's better than Jela in all aspects again not discrediting Jela as I rate him too.

 

wasn`t particularly lethal when we played them, kin hell he couldn`t score from the penalty spot ffs !

 

It is obvious the players are following what has been drummed into them during training.

 

Perhaps we should make an application to have an extra set of goals located on each touch line, at the half way line?

 

I think this is the same muddled thinking Steve Bruce suffers from. Jelavic has had 15 appearances and 4 goals. Hernandez has had 11 appearances and 3 goals - any real difference there? There were a lot of chances missed in our last 20 mins of football and it was no coincidence that they caused them to happen. They both need game time TOGETHER, from the off, for them to click and I am certain it will happen.

 

Would love to see us shoot more, have a go, work the opposition keeper a lot more,also the opposition defence must love us putting in crosses from 30yards out, our strikers need to be facing the goal instead of their backs to it. It hurts to lose, but sometimes it hurts even more the manner in which we lose.
