What the hell did you guys do to Enrique? He was class when he left Newcastle. I think the terminology our fans would use is that he's been Rodgered.

If Enrique was half as good as he was I'd probably still take him back. I really wonder what happened to him!

If we got a left back who actually plays left-back this month, I'll be delirious!

I personally think that on form he's one of the best full backs in the league.

Pacey, strong, comfortable on the ball... Problem is he's just never fit.

Think he he spends too much time on the weights and his legs can't cope with the strain. Real shame

I've rarely seen a full back better at stopping crosses than Enrique when he was here. He would just show the winger down the line and beat over 5 yards and get his body between the winger and the ball. You compare and contrast with every full back we've had since and they are scared to get within 5 yards of the winger so they let them do whatever they want with the ball.

When Enrique waltzed off into the sunset, he was a fit footballer at his peak, unfortunately after 5 years with Liverpool, that player is gone, replaced by a pale shadow of the man.

If you've got £19m to spend on one player it should be Youri Tielemans, before one of the big teams snaps him up in the summer.

Look at Dele Alli, valued by some at £50m <yikes> after a handful of games for Spurs.

I've been telling people for weeks that we need to get in there. Tielemans is some footballer and will be a top player when he is older. I also rate Andy Najar. He's a 22 year old Honduran international who can play on either side, is comfortable with both feet and can play either full back or on the wing. Pacey guy and he set up a lot of Mitrovic's goals in Belgium and the Champions League.

Tielemans is a top player now! Did you see this... that's pure filth, forget about the opponents.

I've watched a few games as we've been linked with him, that one wasn't from a game I watched as it was a while back, the kid has some very quick feet and is two footed, slings 50 yarders for fun.

    He'll just get even better.
People forget that the Belgians completely overhauled their youth system and are now enjoying the fruits of that. Some of the young players coming out of Belgium are different class. We bang on about signing young prospects, yet we have a kid like him that we aren't even trying to get. This kid is just unreal.

  17. He was class for us too imo. I think he fell out with Brod and he's been cast into the cold. thought he'd get another chance with Klopp taking over but it appears the bridges are too badly burnt unfortunately.

  19. TBF, even if you have watched Liverpool in the last two years you wouldn't have watched Enrique <laugh>

Last time I watched Newcastle they were brilliant <grr>

  20. As for Lacazette; if he is available for that price then there will be a host of clubs wanting to sign him.
