Johnson has the great merit of not being Corbyn. I've been following politics since 1964 and no political leader of any party comes close to Corbyn in terms on unelectability. Johnson is a marmite figure who seems to see life as one long charm offensive, but any Conservative leader would look good compared to Jezza.
I can see the Tories winning the election with a large majority. I can also see the Lib Dems making a number of gains. Labour with Corbin in charge will sink like a stone.
No I did say the free sex announcement …. I want to know if it is fully costed like the free broadband is … or are they saying that this free broadband will include free porn?.... that would get @Beware of the Virus 's vote!
I could put an answer to this but appreciate minors can read it, best not for the reputation of this wonderful board.
Babies read faces instinctively. If you smile a genuine smile at a baby they will smile back. This clever baby is returning Corbyn's glare....with interest. Johnson was no better trying to join in Wheels on the Bus in a nursery, but only revealing that he didn't know the words, or the actions.
The horn on the bus goes beep, beep, beep Beep, beep, beep Beep, beep, beep The horn on the bus goes beep, beep, beep All 'round the town
Surely the last line is "all day long"?. It is in Forest Hill nurseries at any rate. Didn't Madonna do a rock version? Google reckons both versions are ok. what does Mike Tyson think?
"Let me tell ya what "the wheels on the bus" is about. It's about some cooze who's a regular f*ck machine. I mean all the time, morning, day, night, afternoon, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick. How many dicks was that? A lot. Then one day she meets a John Holmes motherf*cker, and it's like, whoa baby. This mother f*cker's like Charles Bronson in "The Great Escape." He's diggin' tunnels. Now she's gettin' this serious dick action, she's feelin' something she ain't felt since forever..."
A modest program of nationalisation, say water and the railways, might actually have had some electoral appeal. But if the Corbyn clique actually believe that they can win an election with this load of twaddle they're mad. Mrs T's sell-off program brought the treasury a huge windfall, enabling her to cut taxes while keeping unemployment over£3m, without the sort of cuts in benefits of late. So to a simple layman like me it seems obvious that a lot of money has to come back out of the treasury to get them back. As a lifelong Labour man I find it frankly embarrassing.
Labour have gone into a frenzy of increasingly ridiculous promises during the last week or so. They appear to just be having ideas at random, and throwing them our to people as election promises. We'll raise the top rate of tax to 90%. We'll renationalise pretty much everything. We'll spend £150 billion on the NHS and social services. We'll give everybody in the country £95 per week - no need to have a job. They just blandly ignore the difficulties and resistance they will meet trying to do all this pie-in-the-sky stuff. As though Jezza just has to sign a few edicts and that will make it so. Only the most fervent of loony lefties can possibly believe any of this will actually happen, should Corbyn end up in No.10 on December 13th. Especially if he is put there by the SNP and/or the Lib Dems (oh yes they will, the bare-faced liars). It's easy enough for a "rainbow alliance" of liberal bleeding hearts, anti-democrats and traitors to block legislation and sabotage Parliament. It won't be so much fun when they actually try to get any bills passed themselves. The results would be chaos, humiliating slap-stick black tragic comedy, that makes the last three years look like a dignified affair. It's a damned good thing the British people won't let it happen. Even if Labour had a majority of 100+ in the Commons they could never get all the idiotic rubbish they are talking about done. A few teenagers with no experience of life might believe Jezza is capable of bringing about a socialist paradise. But 99.9% of the British people - even millions of traditional Labour voters - are not for one minute going to be taken in. Momentum are making Labour a laughing stock with their intelligence-insulting nonsense.
