This is what I'm getting concerned about Stan.... Similar to last season. In Hughes we trust though. I would imagine everything is very calculated with him.

I think we may need 2 of them but if Naughton is signed, that moves Onuoha to CB which means we could get away with just one. We havent been linked with anyone and i think thats the area we need to upgrade most.

Yep, we need a big fuc*er of a CB. We looked vunerable in the air last season especially at corners.

A quality depth of squad is always good to provide formation choices, cover off injuries, red cards etc. Just look at the Man City bench last season. We brought a pitiful squad to some of our early games (e.g. at Wigan) last season.

    Queens Park Rangers
    01 Kenny
    05 Hall (Harryman - 61' )
    06 Gabbidon
    15 Perone
    16 Connolly
    04 Derry
    07 Taarabt
    11 Faurlin
    14 Buzsaky (Bothroyd - 72' )
    19 Agyemang
    21 Smith (Andrade - 80' )
    Substitutes
    26 Murphy
    40 Harryman
    25 Ephraim
    36 Andrade
    10 Bothroyd
    22 Helguson
    30 Hewitt

At least they'll have pre season together this time. And that include the lot we signed last year!

Have to say Swords that the Norwich board took your threads in great spirit, don't really get why they're so precious and touchy on the 'pool board!!

I am surprised, but not overly so. I thought it was a fine piece of work, and not too cruel.

That was exactly my thought but he went to Russia on an inflated fee and wages so I dont think its feasable now.

This! This would be the final piece of the Jigsaw for me. Other than Vidic et-al Samba is as good as we could wish for at the present moment in time. I can't think of a better signing in this position. But watch TF and Sparky surprise me.
