Are you letting Londoners into the county now. What next! And Interior Designers at that! The place has gone to seed. We're going to have to go back Dave.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that he'd just bought his mum a house and it needed a lot of doing up, it was in Sheffield.

I was cacking myself when Davis came on, I thought without the two big guys at the back we could be in trouble! But, no way were they out muscled out jumped or out competed. The whole team deserve medals for that performance, absolutly fantastic. My MoM was Bennet.

we have to buy naughton, no matter how much spurs ask for, he'll be worth it and probably worth double the fee within twelve months. england international in waiting, no question and probably, just ahead of jackson, man of the match saturday.

agree with ILD too, bennett was magnificent at right back when he came on <ok>

This is what I love about being a football supporter, everyone of us see's something different and has their favourites, but overall we support the team. I'm actually still buzzing after saturday, the game had everything. We could have scored 10.
Big shout for Ruddy as well, I wasn't convinced by him early on but he's dominating his area now and looks a class keeper.

ruddy had one big problem when he first arrived, and that problem was fraser forster! now although i wasn't big fraser's biggest fan, there is no question he did well for us towards the end of our league one campaign and became a big hit with the fans. ruddy then came in from the blue and had big shoes to fill. a couple of dodgy mistakes early on left some fans craving for a return for forster but you could just tell that he had the stature, maturity and personality to become an excellent goalkeeper, which i think he has become. there is still room for improvement and i wish he would come for a few more crosses but overall he is the much better goalkeeper out of him and forster. he is good with his feet too and its a big part of our game that the keeper can play as part of the defence and keep controlled possession - something forster found extremely difficult <ok>

Agreed supers. Ruddy has probably made fewer mistakes in a season and a half than Forster did in one season. Also, where is Forster now? Look at where Ruddy's goalkeeping has got us.

wonky, the celtic fans don't rate forster at all. i think thats harsh - he is a decent keeper but he has too many weaknesses. he'll end up in the championship i reckon

PS, Can't believe you two knocking Forster, he played his part in getting us promoted.

Ruddy has also grown in confidence and given the difficulties we've had in defence, by which I mean injuries and not being able to have a settled back four, he is now looking more commanding and playing an important role in organising the guys in front of him. At the beginning I wasn't sure that he was helping his defenders as much as he could. It#s a different story now.

its a good point longsight. the number of changes in front of him this season has been huge! hardly ever had a settled back four to help him so i think he's probably doing even better than i'm giving him credit for!!

A settled back four really would help due to the fact that the keeper will slowly learn how they play, respond appropriately and then a plan is in place. Many different players at the back means he has to learn many different styles of play.
