    They didn't have to pay a fee and we get him permanently off our books freeing up another place.

    He's not a bad keeper. Anyone who thinks he's utter **** is not really looking round at the general standard of keeping. Joe Hart is still Englands No.1 at the end of the day.

    Agreed. He was better than a Brighton 3rd choice keeper. I would suspect reason he couldnt get a team was he was in a decent salary with us so it didnt make financial sense for him to go on a permanent transfer to a Dutch club. Now he was nearing the end of his contract it was probably in both clubs interest to convert the loan deal to a permanent one. I can see him working his way up to first choice keeper there.

    Hes not 3rd choice? Ryan has been shaky and wouldn't be surprised if Krul starts given he has that Prem experience. Him and Ryan will be fighting it out for number 1 spot, not sure who you think who else is there?
