I honestly think if you keep Townsend and Aarons, then they will rip full backs in the Championship to pieces. The obvious issue is Aarons fitness. It would also guarantee a supply line for Mitrovic and Perez should they stay. To be honest those 4 plus Mbemba and Lascelles would go a long way to securing promotion.

 

Is that lad Roberts still on the books? Haven't seen much about him this season but could have a good opportunity next season ( unless he has left already and I'll just look even more stupid than usual ).

This is why I'd dump Gouffran. I'd just use Roberts, Aarons, Townsend in the wide areas. Maybe get one more with a right peg.

Dude, your club either feeds off scraps (Rodwell, O'Shea) or stumbles across the odd discarded toy that still works (Defoe, Kirchoff). You don't get a seat at the table unless there's a bib and a high chair involved. You have no foundation that will ever see you rise above the relegation scrap and you will go down again.

I can't see Townsend joining Sunderland if he wants to play for England.....he'd have no chance, just ask Defoe.

I admit some people just aren't meant to smoke it. I enjoy it though and I go to Arnhem a lot, where there's a couple of nice coffee shops so I imagine it's going to play some part in my life for a fair few years yet.
