[nsfw]Okay, as much as I've wanted to see that little prick die for so long, I thought it was a bit of an anticlimax in the end. From the beginning of that long scene I was suspecting someone might poison him, though I suppose the main surprise is the person who did it. I was hoping it would be the Tyrells who assassinated him, but that's a nice curveball there. Classic George R. R. Martin.

Tyrion's in a world of **** now and it's hard to see him getting out of it. Cersei is such a bitch. A sexy bitch.

The hunting scene at the beginning was hard to watch and now I think Ramsay may be the new Joffrey. What a dick.

No Dany or Arya scenes this week so I'm feeling unfulfilled.

[nsfw]I'm struggling to see how it could really benefit the Tyrells to kill him like that, as it just makes them likely suspects and they don't really benefit from it, due to how the Lannisters are likely to react to this. If they were going to kill him they'd have made it look like an accident at an inconspicuous time. Dontos doesn't have anything left to lose, as he told Sansa last week, and he's being humiliated daily by Joffrey, and he wants to repay Sansa for saving his life. Now it looks like they're both about to flee King's Landing. It all adds up.

They were all getting extremely pissed off with him, and while Olenna is likely too wise for it, Loras might not be - they were, after all, very insulting about his lover. Similarly, the Dorne lot might have something to gain from it and sent Oberyn there just to kill him. Dontos does seem to make sense too, of course, but then how would be do it without being noticed?[/nsfw]
