She knows how bad at DIY I am :)

Her list does include, the zoo, my son's 13th birthday (karting with is mate) and shopping. I want to get a few minutes in the garden as I am behind on the veg patch. I got one part cleared and weeded yesterday so need to plant carrots and parsnips this week. I then need to do the raised beds, but they can be down one at a time. Managed to trim the raspberries too yesterday, so getting there ... Slowly.

I know the 'kids' will look at this thinking WTF, I used to, but something happens around mid thirties and a gardening or grow your own switch is flicked on!

There's a fun gene we all have that switches at a certain age from clubbing to gardening. The age it activates varies....mine was at about 27.

Probably gonna wait until 9 to watch GoT on Sky again. The ads are annoying but at least I can guarantee good quality.

In looks maybe :) The other age definer is when you look at an item of clothing in the shops and think: That looks comfy<laugh>

I would, but I'm using a PC right now which is so old and **** that it would struggle to play something of that high quality.

This Pistorius trial is so compelling...I must say I'm feeling more and more inclined to say that he'll be done for murder, but who knows.

His account seems to be becoming more and more unbelievable the more we hear. Or maybe it's just the prosecutor being really harsh.

I think he was a bomb waiting to go off. He was obsessed with guns and being attacked in his home...he wanted to shoot someone. Reckless endangerment (or equivalent) at the the very least. And I think he went mad.....should be found guilty of murder.
