Delete the discussion programmes, they are crap that is just automatically added onto the series record. Deleting the actual programmes would be a breach of human rights.

I can't understand how he doesn't watch them straight away. When a new episode comes out I can't think about anything else until I've seen it.

It's the power that a PVR gives you over the TV. You're not tied to the schedules, and eventually you're not tied to the TV at all. I've found that stuff like iPlayer, HDD recorders, time-shifting, etc... the whole combined deal actually ends up making you watch less TV because you don't get into that comfy chair every evening, and therefore you're not tied to that noisy rectangle. It doesn't take long for the break to become practically permanent.

I'm not addicted to any TV. It's the least of my priorities and I'm much the better for it. On the whole, the best TV programme in the world is the blank screen. I did use to record every MotoGP race until this season, but now I'll admit to watching it LIVE or the highlights on Monday night. And that's only if I remember to, so even that tether is eroding. I will seek out Saints games to watch highlights of or full 90 minutes, but's that's off the Net anyway. I'm much more radio oriented because you can be doing things when that is going on. And the pictures on radio are better too.

Speaking of MotoGP, it's the Austin round this weekend. Will you be watching?

Hopefully I'll set aside some time, GBS. In the past 2 months I've taken up with the Southampton Ramblers, who are a great bunch of people, so both Saturday and Sunday can sometimes be taken up with walking between 6 and 14 miles, and socialising afterwards.

By the way, check the signature. Hopefully, I'll be changing it for every race.

Rangers' fans are being urged to put their season ticket money into a separate fund and not to give it to the board yet. If any of you are worried about buying season tickets in case Mauricio leaves the club, please send me the cheque...it will be quite safe<whistle>

Well, I suppose this is his corner... So it goes here.

Ralph Krueger is cycling to Villa Park next week with 29 Saints fans to raise money for the SaintsFoundation.

Good luck to all of them - quite a bit further than the one to Brighton they did a couple of years ago!

Not as far as the poor Newcastle fans who cycled down to St Mary's and watched their team get ripped apart! Really felt sorry for them.

Just realised there's a link to donate to the Saints Foundation, so made it a thread. Hope that's fine by the mods!

If it's not Jay's Joint I'll be very disappointed. Although 'joint' may be a bit close to home based on the injury being in his knee... Rodriguez's Residency?
