I actually watched it on TV for the first time the other day, rather than through "other means". Sooooo many adverts.

I know, it's not ideal. Though the ad break does give me time to look up anything that's gone over my head. I still have to keep reminding myself of names.

A lot of reports coming through that Sue Townsend has died. Sad indeed if true. Goodnight Adrian Mole.

Quick before you miss it. I nearly forgot the first episode. Great first instalment - The Two Take The Trip To Italy

Just noticed your post on Sue Townsend, LTL. That's a shame, if true. Although I wasn't a fan of Adrian Mole, he wasn't aimed at my age group, I did like the Queen and I, about the Royal Family living on a housing estate - which wouldn't do them any harm at all.

By all accounts a wonderfully warm and funny lady. Doesn't seem to be any official sources confirming it, but lots of noise from people who should otherwise know better.....(are we friends again now TSS!? ;) )

In other news, I met Michael Eavis for the first time tonight. He's quite, quite mad, but in a very endearing way. Employs over 20,000 people for the festival now. Quite remarkable.

Haha, I thought I'd upset you by baiting that United fan in a very mild way on the first Jay thread. I hope I didn't!

No mate. I'll admit I thought.., that's not wise.., but everyone is entitled to have a bit of entertainment, and he was behaving like a bit of a berk and upping the anti, most of the time. And he was a guest who wasn't on his best behaviour. Number one fundamental rule, of a guest on another forum, broken.

My son has only just realised I have Sky Atlantic (how could he not know!!) so has started to fill my Sky box with GOT and some discussion programme about GOT....not got much room, so I may wipe them if he doesn't watch it soon. I have to record Bargain Hunt....that's reasonable, isn't it? <laugh>
