After retiring from cycling, Sir Chris Hoy has taken a new career path - in motorsport. He's joined the British GT series, racing a manufacturer-backed Nissan GT-R GT3, with the ultimate aim of racing in the Le Mans 24 Hours.

Very interesting, but speaking as a fan of this kind of racing, I really hope it brings the publicity the sport deserves.

Just had a photo in town with what I 'believe' was Mcqueen Reed Chambers & Turnbull. I hovered around them for ages as there was a 5th man with them and I was trying to see if I recognised him as a Saints academy player- but settled for asking him to take the picture of me with them
