Youth. I'm 53 and in the last 3 weeks both my Achilles' tendons have been seizing up in sequence, never know which one, both or neither, is going to hurt when I wake up. Strange. Fair enough re comparison to others. If he's not fit (he never had any pace) he shouldn't be playing and we shouldn't be paying him if the only reason is dislike of hard work. H has known him for years, presumably he also knows what type of character he was acquiring. He wasn't playing at Kiev for a reason. The 'right sort'?
Plainly not the right sort, just fat and lazy. BAE not the right sort either -way better than this league but just going through the motions. Giving goals away and wants a fight when criticized. Send him back.
I think it's obvious that BAE performed well up to Xmas hoping for a return to spuds. He's been absolutely crap since the window closed and abandoned with us in the champ. He's a talented player but doesn't give a buck about us.
I had the dubious pleasure of seeing BAE in the flesh at Forest, his heart had gone by then. I'm trying to hold off criticizing individual players though. We are, somehow, still in 3rd place, it's still on.
Automatic promotion is no longer a possibility IMO. We will be in the play-offs and will need better than a dead-man-walking manager to take us up. Sack him now.
I hope Redknapp drops him for the Charlton game. Yesterday was the final straw. He was absolutely useless. He was as bad as Taarabt ever was and just as fat too! And to think he was playing in the CL not that long ago. Then again, Bosingwa was in a CL-winning team a few months before he came to us.
Gosh, now that is a GREAT comment. I'd gladly swap the two but Harry would probably point out, quite correctly, that Taarabt is a disruptive influence in the dressing room and at training.
Having an arrogant idiot like BAE and a player (Kranjcar) who clearly has no intention of getting remotely fit is just as disruptive imo. Right sorts Harry? Bollocks!
