Bill Oddie actually does have some serious issues, in and out of mental hospital all his life I think- bi-polar disorder/depression. I'm not one of the serious birdwatching types just something I always did since a little kid looking around, couldn't tell one seagull from the next though I heard the Brighton ones are a bit gay
I never actually say I don't rate these players (apart from McShane I suppose) but in terms of players like Koren, or Fryatt last season, I've just made observations about certain parts of their games which aren't as good as they could be. People argue initially and pretend I'm saying the player is ****e and then eventually back down a bit and say things like "Well if he could shoot properly he'd be playing in the PL." Which might well be true, but doesn't contradict what I'm saying. That's exactly the problem I have on here. Certain good players just can't be criticised as if they are perfect in every way. On this thread I haven't said Koren isn't a good player, but for some reason I can't say it pissed me off that he jumped out of several challenges. There are plenty of other players who that simply wouldn't apply to. Cairney is a good example because of his similar position. People are desperate to moan about him whenever he plays and if it was him who did that you could guarantee everyone would be saying how **** he is. I praised his goal and said he played well overall. Am I expected to say he's brilliant every game and ignore any flaws? What's the point in a messageboard under those conditions?
Thats why he left Autumnwatch/Springwatch as he had a meltdown. Apparently he was a complete arse with everybody on the show, made Kate Humble cry or something but they all forgive him because of his mental health issues in fact he was invited back on as a guest. He is a bit of legend Bill Oddie, even gets mentioned in Alan Partridge, think Alan sees him as competition for ad slots if I remember right
I'm in south stand and it was a nice little ball just put too much on it, I thought he was much better on Saturday and I've been very critical of him recently.
