Nope I don't mind a debate with you Kempton, we usually disagree but you don't get as personal and angry over players like Glennon does. The guy absolutely hated Brady and Amos for some reason and just gets all personal if you disagree with him. He also tells anyone who thinks Chester has been better than McShane this season that they haven't a clue about football. I don't mind people being wrong if they just present it as opinion, but everything is fact with him and you're a **** of you disagree. If people are really going to get upset and angry,i think they should'nt bother with any forum. My better half uses a gardening forum, and could you believe people have some right bitter rows on there,it's hilarious
Ha ha ha - I don't present it as 'fact' at all. You try and present your opinion is 'infallible', strange in most cases that you're the only person, or in a very small minority that has that opinion. I praised Brady, after his performances this season and said he was a completely different player to last season (conveniently missed out by you). Amos was ****, if he wasn't we wouldn't have Stockdale would we, and we probably wouldn't be second in the table. McShane has been our best defender - multiple MOM awards, these are generally given for outstanding performances, voted by numerous people, so no coincidence - not the performances you describe , the offer of a new contract on the horizon - that's because he's ****, yeah? Our manager seems to rate him, so your misguided opinion counts for nothing, thankfully.
Can't disagree with any of this to be honest. He backs out of the odd challenge but he can be so creative you can live with it. It shows though how much we've wasted him this season up front when you look at how he played early this season and yesterday. Hopefully that's the end of the Koren as a striker experiment.
I'd have stuck gone with Homer and Proschwitz up top, just to keep Koren in midfield. It might have worked,we'll never know now,and it's all irelevent now as we have Gedo and Boyd. I see us as a favourate, for top two now. I hope it's first though,i have that tenner on us at 28-1 !
I got a tenner on us to win the league at 35/1 and twenty on us to get promoted at 10/1. I'm quids in if we take the title!
Can understand why he did it, because even up front Koren looked more of a threat than both of them. Me too, I had a tenner each way I think so I'm hoping Cardiff bottle it!
There's a bloke just to the right and behind me with a City badge tattooed on his bonce. I think I'd go and position myself at the top of the stand and see if I could give the Tiger a facial
much better in midfield, finding himself in that dangerous shooting position.. the overhit pass to quinn a few people have mentioned, didnt come off but at least he saw the run and attempted it, most the others wouldnt have seen the opportunity.. hope bruce has the courage to stick with it away at palace and take the game to them ..
You've often posted about this topic and I'm afraid the scenario you describe is not one I see at all, in fact, I don't think it could be further from the truth. McShane was almost universally slated on here, yet his perfomances have improved this season and as a consequence he's been almost universally praised. That's the way it works, if you're good you get credit for it, if you're ****, you get slagged for it. You've regularly slated Fryatt and claimed Simpson was a better striker, you were wrong, completely wrong, as has been proven this season. Your repeated claims that it was simply 'fashionable' to rate Fryatt over Simpson were bollocks last season and they remain bollocks now. The fact that you disagree with the majority of posters on here, with regard to the ability of some of our players, is a reflection of your judgment, not some conspiracy everyone else is partaking in just because they want to fit in. Frankly, the very suggestion is embarrassing. No offence like.
It'll be a big call that one. He'll be tempted to bring one of the CBs in and move Bruce to midfield I bet. It would seem negative but away from home we might have to be a bit less open. As a fan I hope not but I'd understand if he wants to be a bit more defensive... The McShane thing is a perfect example though, it became cool to do a complete u-turn on him when he played his first game back, against Blackpool, and he wasn't even that good, actually cost us a goal which I pointed out at the time but everyone ignored it and it just became a thing to go on about McShane being amazing. Bruce on the other hand had just as many critics before this season (myself included based on what Leeds fans said about him) yet no one has really budged on him and he's been no worse than McShane this season. My comments about Simpson were based on earlier this season when he was playing really well like Gedo and Boyd are now. I wasn't to know he'd become less and less effective as the season went on...
There was also quite a few people rating Meyler myself included. You get those who see the bigger picture and those who react to one game (knee-jerkers). Like I said on another thread, players are picked to do a job for the team, Koren isn't a striker so he will struggle in that position. He isn't a water-carrier either, he is player with class- his role isn't to jump into tackles, and if he played every pass spot on he wouldn't be playing for us, more likely a top team in the Premiership.
I look at a birdwatching forum now and then, not ashamed to admit that- there are some right bitter and twisted people looking for an argument on it. What you find is that the wums and trolls on the internet are usually the biggest pussies in real life, thats why they have to go online looking for a rise from people as if they did it in real life they would get filled in, laughed at, or would **** their pants from fear
I bet that Oddie can be a right **** when he's a an anonymous keyboard warrior. Looks the type to me.
That's simply not true, Bruce has been given a great deal of credit, he's not as good as our other centre backs, but he's been decent and that's been reflected in the posts on this board. You seem to have missed my point completely, you don't rate some of our best players and because others disagree, you suggest it's because they haven't got a mind of their own. The reality is, that their eyesight is fine, but yours seems to be worse than Boyd's.
Well obviously the reason i'm not a professional is because of my eyesight.. i shall genuinely use that from here onwards
I have seen very little criticism of Bruce, aside from nepotism and puking. As he has never let anyone down when he has played, I find it very hard as to why anyone would criticise him. He has been an integral part of a very tight defence that has manoeuvred itself into 2nd, McShane has been our stand out defender this season, whether you like it or not, the rest have been Very good too. I will defend any Hull City player, apart from Amos - sorry but he was toss. I have defended Aaron McLean to the hilt, and still would, despite him not having a great goal scoring record here, I like his honesty and hard work as a player.
