Agreed it's ridiculous that we get so many injuries going undiagnosed until they've been playing with it for weeks.

Agree with this too. Koren has been getting stuck in a lot more and covering more ground this season but I really don't think he offers that much on the ball and I'd rather have someone like Quinn who can put balls in like the one he did the other day for Aluko's offside goal or even Elmo playing further forward with Rosey coming in, as opposed to Koren playing balls like the one he did on Saturday to the imaginary winger he convinced himself was making a run down the line.

But we've been playing 4-3-3, not 4-4-2. Koren has been playing as one of three centre midfielders. Elmo is a winger/wing back/right back not a centre midfielder.

Another thing why would you move one of the best crossers at the club from wide to central?

We've been playing 4-2-3-1 recently, with Brady, Koren and Aluko as attacking midfielders. Elmo could definitely fill the role Koren is playing.

Given that the only threat Newcastle have at the minute is Ben Arfa who will alternate wings throughout the game but tend to be more on the right wing I would plump for Rosie and Elmo double act down the right and Brady and Fig down the left flank, gives us some cover, take him out of the proceedings and we cud well come away with three points. While Rokko has been playing well, and getting stuck in as best `HE` can, a combination of Rosie and Elmo will have a little more steel to them.

the cuneiforms are 3 bones just behind the metatarsals, 6-12 weeks for bone healing & then physio. As a high-level sportsman he needs to exhert high pressure on his foot so your 10 weeks looks optimistic. He's fairly young though but it depends also on his healing quickness.

We have been playing 4-4-1-1. Koren has been playing wide right but drifts inside too much as he is not a winger which has meant that Elmo has nobody in front of him and has had to cross from deep which is less effective. I would have switched out Koren for Elmo anyway as Elmo can't defend from full back.
