Kone bids received...

Ok, so now we've agreed a fee with Wigan, so say reports.

Cue Everton matching the bid, and Kone heading off to the Toffees. Am I bothered? Hard to say - what's the consensus on Kone? Not what I'd consider a world class striker, but preferable to Bent.

 

That sounds very possible, I find the whole Perch transfer very odd for a few reasons but my main intrest is that Mike Ashley wants to buy cheap and sell high, sooo why would you take a loss on Perch who has increased his value no-end while playing for us. I mean we bought him in for£1-2mil and easily could have gone for £2-3m even with one year left on his contract.

I think Bent would be more of a player to complement Cisse mind. And Bent does score. He's a miles better striker than Shola. All I can think of is MA is playing a waiting game to get Villa to accept less money. It might work or he might sign for someone else.

 

Kone has joined Everton. Hardly surprising.

 

Mate most are better than that useless bastard. I wouldn't mind Bent but not as a starting striker. Maybe as a replacement for Shola while we bring a more formidable starting striker in. We need two strikers anyway.
