    Whatever floats his boat but Muslims must be a barrel of laughs even without Ramadan. They basically have to live like hermits for most of the year but when Ramadan comes around they have to live like starving grumpy hermits.

    Like riding a bike.. only you're not allowed any food or water when you're riding this bike.
    Obviously on the hotter days it can be an issue but the wonders of modern weather forecasting helps you stock on the right foods the night before..

    True. They believe it will have other benifits to their lives, you don't see many overweight devout Muslims around I suppose.
