There must be a hefty wedge in this for JK and his agent. I get it that Villa are a bigger more famous club than us, however I'm not convinced that they are in a position to challenge this season like Norwich & Newcastle will be, so the move there doesn't make total football sense, over say Hull, or WBA, we shall see!!
Sure to be. LIke you, I don't think Villa will be ripping the league up any time soon. Money may be the motivator here.
Villa...parachute payments.....they can afford a couple of seasons of desperation / stupidity to try and get back to the land of greed.
http://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/kodjia-departs-for-villa-in-club-record-sale-3280055.aspx On the OS now- £11m rising to £15m. with sell on clause.
Hate that Ashton says Kojak made it clear he wanted to leave. Ungrateful to the club that put him on the map.
He obviously doesn't see it that way, and you can only sympathise with that. He was top scorer in his league before he came to England, and doesn't feel Bristol City put themselves at any risk by playing him so why should he be grateful ? It wasn't charity More importantly, now we have 2 days to bring in his replacement. Lots of cash in the bank ….. Calls out to Middlesborough ?
Sad it ended this way but a good bit of business financially, turning £2m into £11+m in 12 months (I wonder what the tax implications are of that?) Thanks for last year Jonathan - au revoir et Bon chance - and I hope the Villa fans enjoy watching their new player in the African Cup! Moving on.......
Nothing like Maynard, there was no hanging around, JK didn't say I'm not going there. So where is the comparison?
