So, Koeman gets here on the first. How do you expect this to change things? Will we start hearing assurances and backtracking from players, or will we lose more than we thought? Will the press stop seeing us as a soft touch? Will this be a bad summer, or will it come good?

Well, Kluitenberg is already here. His tweets from this morning...

@jankluit: On my way to UK.

@jankluit: Very nice view......

OMG...he can fly. Is it a bird, is it a plane?

Feeling much more confident. We have a good manager i.e. haven't had to settle for one of the usual suspects. I will still feel that even if a few expected players leave...it all depends who we bring in. However, we must hold everyone to their contracts apart from those going for silly money.

I'm feeling a lot more confident now too. Yes there may be some leaving for crazy money, but if the figures are to be believed then that will be good business. Looking forward to seeing who we get in, we mustn't forget how thin the squad was getting last season so will be great to get in some quality as well as bolster some of the areas needed. Really getting excited now, Ron and Co are arriving and the real work begins.

Yes, very positive and we can show that playing for Saints is no barrier to international football, self-evidently. Maybe next season we can show that it's no barrier to European football either.:)

We all tended to agree that we needed a GK, CB, Wide Midfield and another Striker to boost the fragile squad.
Now we need two strikers due to Rickie leaving and we must replace anyone else who leaves.
Will be a roller coaster ride this summer...hold tight!

Be great if we can sign everyone we want, but we know how long it takes to get players in...unless it's quicker without Nicola? Our problem is that we want players of the quality that we struggle to convince to come here...hopefully Koeman may have more clout than Adkins or MP. Will be a difficult off season for Saints as it is about buying players, convincing some to stay and perhaps new contracts for a couple of players....all at the same time as a new manager trying to settle in. And we need a GK coach and new staff at the Academy....a cinch then. We need the stability and experience that Reed has.

Luckily for us, a fan's job is only to moan it isn't happening fast enough and why haven't we signed Messi or Ronaldo. :)

The koe... is coming. The koe... is coming.

Im quietly excited, almost stoked. Need some new signings and positive news as koe settles in.

yes, sadly it looks like we could need to sign half a first team even with only a couple of losses.

it could be a very challenging first season for koeman.
