Worth noting the NBC addon in the OP is currently down, has been for a few weeks. There are however several other addons mentioned in the thread that give you HD football, and with the power of Google there's even more.

Did anyone try it?

Get on well with it?

Great find if I may say so myself, excellent quality and uninterrupted. Not even the risk of spyware and all the other nasty **** browser steaming sites infect your computer with.

Here's a guide for everyone else to try it next time we're away. I did some research into free to use VPN's and CyberGhost seemed to be the best around.

Have spent most of my time on iPad for last couple of years. After reading this got out my laptop and installed TVMC. Added metal-kettle and Sports Devil and have had a fantastic picture for sports and everything else.
Have got hotshield VPN on iPad but have tried the trial version of Avast antivirus one and it works brilliantly. More expensive though at about £8 per month.
Anyway, thanks Mr. Hat for making me aware of this.

@Mr. Hat So I need to install a VPN thing to my laptop first? Is cyber CyberGhost still the best? Tried reading what a VPN does and it went straight over my head <laugh>

You only need a VPN for the NBC addon as far as I'm aware, and as its not currently working, there's not much point.

Cyberghost is the best free to use one about but I only got a good enough speed for HD streaming through it twice, I ended up buying a premium one for £5 a month and it was brilliant (until NBC went down).

NBCSN works fine on Kodi and no VPN is needed.

The picture quality really is spot on. You can even watch sky/bt sports channels with some addons.

It also offers a lot more, HD movies, TV shows, foreign TV channels and even music etc. It's like a skybox with the entire wirlds media.

Ok cheers for the help fella.

A couple of add-ons have NBCSN HD (and SD) without needing a VPN.
Vdubt25 and UK Turk for example.

Hope there's no objection to me posting this here, I know some of you are up to date with this stuff. I'm picking my new android tablet and mini hdmi today to run through my tv to stream football mainly and maybe other tv. I watch all my steams on my laptop so unfamiliar with tablets but I've read of people having problems with closing ads. Is there an App out there I should be going for to make my life easier?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried turning it off and then on again?

Rush goalie. Two at the back, three in the middle, four up front, one's gone home for his tea. Beans on toast? Possibly, don't quote me on that. Marvellous.
