    If it does, it does. You would probably get a more stable connection with a powerline connector.

    But, whatever works.....

    A powerline will give much faster speed than just wifi

    If I use Wifi only I get a 57Mbit connection via wired its 69Mbit

    It really makes little difference unless you have other heavy bandwidth users on your wifi at the same time. 4k UltraHD streams require about 25 Mbit tops, and 1080p only requires a quarter of that.

    The other main reasons to use a powerline adapter are (1) if you live in a building with a lot of steel in it's construction, as that can block wifi signals even through a single wall (2) if you get a lot of wifi interference from your neighbours. Both of those problems are far more common in apartment blocks than houses.

    Thing is though even if you are getting 2000mbps between the pc/laptop it really wont make huge difference if your actual internet connection isn't high speed!

    The other thing you have to consider is the isp, do they have QoS settings in place for real time traffic and what bandwidth that is set to as well...

    @kiwiqpr yes easy to set up and you can watch UK TV. You may have to use a VPN to get the UK channels. The Play store is on the box so just download aVPN then add the Freeview AddOn in Kodi.

    TV shows and movies is what the box is all about Sports depends on connection shippe.

    Download kodi and a VPN app from the playstore onto your device, then download "the complete kodi set-up wizard" app from the play store, the wizard has all the best builds, choose one and the app will install it fully loaded onto your kodi.

    I mentioned on our TV thread that I was rewatching 1 and 2 in preperation for this one and the response from Star Trek fans is funny as. I think the new films are great, they do what all other Star Trek media has failed at. They make the films fun and enjoyable to watch istead of boring geek nonsense. <whistle>

    Exodus will be on the fully loaded boxes. No download needed.

    Not sure about the jailbroken bit though!

    No mate, android(kodi)TV boxes are rooted(jail broken), kodi itself is the equivalent of an android app, inside the app(kodi)the user has the option of loading addons(similar to apps)onto it, these include the skin, programs and addons but instead of doing all of that yourself you can buy boxes that are fully loaded.

    <ok>
