OK I know it's the close season and we all need something to talk about but what is it that makes some of us want to constantly knock and snipe at our own players? If it's not Guly it's Hammond or Butterfield. Now it's Martin.

These players and the rest of this squad have just got us our second consecutive promotion and we should be revelling in the fact not constantly knocking them!

Yes some of them they may turn out not be Premiership standard but surely they have all earnt the right to be given a chance!

If Nigel thinks they are good enough then until their is hard evidence to the contrary so should we!!

I think that just about covers it. What's the common link? Well, they are all players who aren't called Rickie Lambert or Adam Lallana. So I think the solution is for them all to change their name to one of those by deed poll, this should mean that they have every little error forgiven and applauded, rather than criticised and booed.
