I made comparison last year, very similar players, just Mahrez has bit more about him. Knockaert was at Leicester as well and moved for Mahrez to then take over in effect. Cracking player, great free kick on him as well. You'd do well to get him but reckon it'll cost you upwards of £15m
The main thing I remember Knockaert for is diving for a penalty in the playoffs against Watford, missing it and Deeney scoring at the other end to win the game.
According to the seer Lee Ryder we are after 4 more signings after Diame. Hopefully Knockaert and Forestieri will be two of the four.
We're going to have a massive squad if we bring 5 in with only Sissoko leaving. If this happens I'd expect Bigi, Vuckic, Sammy and more to be leaving.
Thauvin off as well, dunno if you'd already included him as leaving. I read somewhere that Brighton's price for Knockeart was £10m, which we should totally go for if it's true. Diame will probably be much more easy to sign given the mess at Hull right now, and the Wednesday guy got plenty of goals last season, so bring him in if we can. After signing a few Prem players, it looks like now we're cherry-picking the best championship players that can make the step up, encouraging times.
it's important we play this stage of the transfer window right though, if we overpay for players from Champ rivals we face them strengthening as we have done on the transfer cash (considering we pay up front for all transfers now).
The fact that, other than Darlow, only Tiote and Thauvin didn't play on Saturday out of the 22 players in the squad, I think we should expect them two to be leaving fairly soon. Sissoko will go without a shadow of a doubt. We are short of wingers as it is though.
Delighted with the signings we've made and are rumoured to be making, however I'm also conscious that teams full of new players almost never gel immediately. Hope Rafa strikes the right balance otherwise the first few games of the season could be quite frustrating.
we were heavily linked with knockaert a few seasons back and could really do with the creativity and goal threat. Diame i very much like and he offers the odd goal too hope we get both. Very wary about bringing in too many new faces at once (providing theres any truth to that tweet at all) as it can cause problems, but have to trust rafa and its a long season so it is what it is

I would be delighted if we signed both of these players but can't see brighten selling up. Diame though would be a class signing. I just want sissoko gone now. I think we should also ditch tiote and also de Jong. I have not been as optimistic about enjoying a season as I have this one for a very long time. The Rafa factor is clear and it's also very clear that the club may be learning from past mistakes. Even if we don't get top we should be able to challenge for top 2.
Diame was arguably the best player in the Championship last season, a Rolls Royce of a player. Big, strong, fast, good feet...unplayable on his day. Unfortunately that was only once or twice last season, and sometimes looked uninterested and got caught in possession far too often for a player of his calibre. Bit injury prone too. Still much better than the flash Knockaert, who is better than Forestieri. If big Mo is worth £10million, Knockers is worth £8 and Forestieri £7 million.
Big Mo is reportedly a £4.5 m purchase ( his buy out clause ) which is a tremendous signing at that price.
