To be honest, I reckon he was better at the buffet than on the pitch, especially with the so many late game coaching decisions turning wins into draws and draws into losses. He might have been a lovely guy, potential best mate but a decidedly mediocre tactician.

Actually it's a bit of a myth that we often conceded late on. While it was painful to watch at times, taking off all attacking options worked way more often than not.
