The flick-on was good, but I was too busy watching the deadly finish to care. That's what we need. I watched Holtby for a while in the Bundisliga and, don't get me wrong, he's a good player, but we need scorers at the moment. Huntelaar looks good. It wasn't a gimme that finish. Imagine the damage he could do if he was in our team.

It was great to see! The finish was instinctive - he didn't think about controlling the ball or holding it up or running closer to goal. He had one thought and that was to hit it . The fact that Holtby provided the assist made it sweeter! Holtby's father is from Liverpool and his mother is German, which means he has some local blood and passion, combined with the German efficiency and ruthlessness.
You've written that as if Liverpool had signed both Huntelaar & Holtby (who's dad is a massive Blue btw) Should either be available in Jan then there'd be massive competition for them both, Huntelaar could have his pick of clubs, there's no guarantee that he'll choose Liverpool.
Germany seems to always produce technically gifted players but it appears that they have a real abundance of young talent at the moment so it's an area we should really tap into. Germany, Belgium and Uruguay seem to be the best places for talent at the moment ...

Well Uruguay was, but has gone off a bit. Southampton ruined it signing a good prospect and inevitably sticking to the bottom of the table. Oh that was funny in the summer with all their fans.
