    What has this got to do with Newcastle? Hull have got nothing to do with the North East. You are 12 miles closer to Greater London than Berwick - 152 miles from Berwick and 140 miles from Greater London. We don't care about your little club. Sorry!

    Nobody with half a brain cell would say we are in the north east. We are on the east coast, and technically in the north, but not the proper 'north east'.

    Daft thread this - we're not the kings of anywhere really and, like many City supporters, I consider myself to be a proud Yorkshireman, born in the area north of the Humber (originally known as Northumbria).
