The owners have today pledged to further improve the King Power Stadium. Since they come they have improve the stadium massively. They installed 2 massive tvs, new club shop and ticket office, new changing rooms and changed the bench for the management and subs.

See people moaning because there is a slight increase in season tickets need to realise the owners are spending alot on transfer fees, wages, training ground, academy and the stadium. We are getting a benefit aswell

So what else could they do to improve the stadium? Any ideas?

All of what you say is commendable - but it does not really address the facts that we are being asked to pay more for our favourite leaiure activity during an economic recession and with a ground only 2/3rds full for most games ...

My hopes are admittedly aspirational and not just confined to our owners:

1) Bring back safe standing areas behind the goals and price entry at £5 - £7 - would make footie far more affordable, thereby increasing crowd numbers and atmosphere - what you lose on 'seat' price would be offset by more commercial / commodity sales i.e merchandise and refreshments

2) Keep lower seating alongside the pitch down the sides as the last seats to be filled - if it looks like you are going to have large gaps for the less glamorous games then give the tickets to leicesrtershire schools / scouts / cubs / brownies etc - whatever it takes - again you increase your potential future (plus current) fan base and otherwise empty seats may now be filled with kids and their teachers etc who will almost certainly spend money on match day refreshments and merchandising thereby putting money in the club coffers

3) with 1) and 2) in place look to reward your loyal season ticket holders by a leveraged discount model that recognises and rewards the number of years that the tickets have been held etc - perhaps even allows you to purchase for 5 years (or 4 3 2 ) at a one-off fixed fee.
 
Safe standing will never be brought back and its not like the owners could bring it back. Health and safety will have to do that


Any way the owners are pumping alot of their money into the club, its only fair they ask the fans to put a little bit extra in

I live in hope that safe standiing will come back - lobbying for it has increased markedly and it works in Germany and terracing has not caused any 'trouble' in the lower leagues for many years due toa dvances in policing and surveilance ... with the new financial constraints clubs are going to have to come up with better ideas for sustaining interest from fans and income levels - continued increasing of ticket prices in depressed economies will only erode the fan base
 
Im fairly sure that the catering is franchised out (is Larry Grayson still involved?)
they should get the rights back and overhaul it completely.
a proper queueing system, staff paid on how much they serve not how many times they look round aimlessly and the simplest of things-----a beer only queue and beer kiosks.
we get 15 mins half time but unless you are prepared to miss the end of the first haif forget your beer.
when we get into the prem and the ground is full again it wont even be worth trying.
 
I know it's been done to death, but swap the kop and family stand to generate a better atmosphere and thus matchday experience
