    I know mate and I've let CB wind me up in the past too but this has got out of hand. The whole board seems to be bristling with angry arguments and insults. Quite amazing considering we stayed up!!

    Sorry guys, truly am but CB sees to it that he is not ignored - by me at least (thread named FAO Brixton, stating I had made a 'grovelling apology' etc.). Nothing to do with the reasons I and you come on here. Agree it's boring and distracting.

    Wum stuff usually gets modded sooner. But not so simple when it involves a 'popular high profile contributor'. Case of damned if you do and damned if you don't. In the end a fair few people got very wound up by the increasingly disrespectful retorts sparked this week by CB's outrageous take on Barton's melee.

    As I say, it's all about self-moderation. If you find something unacceptable, say as much and if enough people agree we can act collectively. If you ignore it, it'll fester and eventually explode as it has done here. 'Nuff said?
