As above, joined Torquay to the end of the season. Hopefully he'll get plenty of game time and get some fitness. Seems a shame not to be getting some coaching under the current set up and at such a low level, but can understand the reason for a loan move. Edit: Just realised who their manager is - at least we'll get decent reports on him...
I was gonna say, he's in safe hands under his dad. So clearly keeping an eye on his progress and hetting some proper match experience
He's not going to get in for us at the minute,so,if he plays matches, gets some goals, gets super fit and some confidence,he can come back to us in May in a better starting place for next year. At least we know he'll be looked after by Dad!
back from a long injury, best way for him to rack some playing time up, hopefully he bags a few goals as well.
Offers something a bit different instead of lumping the ball up top to the other two though. Would have preferred him to stay.
I trust LJ enough having seen him in training to ascertain whether he offers enough of something different. This is a typical case of fans wanting a youth product to be a game changer when they probably aren’t.
Aw ****e! I used to go to Wrexham matches as a kid and Torquay are in 3rd place and Wrexham 5th I think we should keep him at Sunderland!
yes but Sanderson was a player with pedigree at championship level. Benji has done diddly squat in his career other than look like he can run quickly and suddenly a load of our fans expect him to come in and destroy this league. Id expect if he was good enough to do that yet we’d have at least seen him off the bench more.
