Absolutely no idea. He'd better be (the DBs not eating them) he will have to impress pretty quickly given his statements to the press and the alleged price tag.
yes but i'd like to see the difference in wages....as you've got him for such a low fee he's probably stung you with his wage demands..... this quote by a fan on your board sums your situation up well. 'You lot are kidding yourself. Acting like it is great news that your best players are leaving. We have seen lots of newly promoted teams have a great first season, only to struggle the season after. Caulker and Gylfi have gone to Spurs and potentially Allen to Liverpool. You have a new manager who is untested in the Premiership.' you have lost 3 key players and are replacing them with players who will take time to settle. we will only see how things pan out once the season starts but i think you're arrogance is misplaced.......
Epic Fail ! You are quoting a Liverpool wum.... Not a fan of our club! So tell me who has left us exactly? Caulker and Siggy were never ours and last time I checked we still own Joe (but even you have to admit if someone offers £15 mill or more .... then SOLD!) Good to see you are trying to keep abreast of things on the Prem boards though Swansea will not be paying more than £35k a week for Michu and Mel is on about £22k a week.... meaning they will probably cost the same this year. We shall have to see how they fare, but I know which one I'd rather. So do you recon the board/Tan are delivering so far?(not a wum...just would like your honest take)
Swimaway Yes, Rome wasn't built in a day and they and Malky are taking their time to ensure we get the right quality players at the right price. Take Keogh as an example. Malky wanted him but the price reportedly paid by Derby, £1.2m, is £2/300k over our valuation and he has gone straight in at Derby as captain. No chance of that with us - he would have been 3 or 4 in the pecking order at best, lower if (and I say if) Bellers comes back. I doubt he would have been in our first choice 11 either. Keogh is a good quality Championship player but I doubt his Prem abilities which is where we want to go. Despite the fears of some I am sure Malky has more up his sleeve and look forward to another 3 or 4 coming in. They could be out of the blue from abroad like Etien and Kim or your new signings, hence no preview at this end until the deals are more or less done. As for your new guys, I hadn't heard of them. I am sure Laudrup knows what he is doing and I look forward to seeing how they settle in - and to see if Laudrup replicates Brendan's playing style or brings something new to the team.
Respects and stoical view which can be difficult from a 'fanatics' standpoint. If you are right, top man Malky for not paying over the odds (it would certainly be the same remit as last year). Anyone else care to differ?
has he (tan) replied to the letter from loyal cardiff fans yet on the shirt issue........like they state in their letter that the team is not theirs no more and wont put any money into the club they dont recognize anymore......its turning into a right soap opera with masses going to disrupt every home game so that they will be on the news and embarrass the club......its going to be an interesting season in cardiff playing in red thats for sure.....
ok then dai>>>>im so glad your very wrong on everything you say>>>>we should have a great season this year .................................cant wait for mikey loud-drop 2 well "drop" and dai what do you racist fan base think of changing you white swan 2 a black un,i bet the dull ****s havnt noticed
This massive disruption is about 400 fans and we know what the agenda is for most of them. It's got nothing to do with footie. I don't think they will be notice either by their presence or their absence, specially if the team is doing well1
i think that most foreign transfers take ages to agree, its just that kims representatives have decided to give everyone a running commentary on whats going on... but 3 days ago the chief executive said it should be done in the next few days so lets see what happens... first game is in 3-4 weeks so we need to get a few more players in...
A said before it could be a combination of international clearance and Olympic side issues holding it all up. Be nice to get it done and dusted though and move on to another target. If Gezza and Keinan go we will need another central defender and left back - got to have double cover for each as Darcy can't be expected to cover the whole back four. It was good to go through last season with no reds (I think) and only one or two suspensions due to bookings. However it could be argued we didn't get stuck in enough in order to keep the cautions/cards down and maybe with a bit more dog we would be regarded as tougher and not roll over so easily to lose hard won leads.
From WoL tonight: - CARDIFF City remain confident the transfer of South Korea international Kim Bo-Kyung is about to be completed. Kim, 22, is committed to the £2m move from Japanese club Cerezo Osaka to the Bluebirds and a source close to the player says: “Everything is done from our side and the deal will be completed. “There are a couple of bits of paperwork with his club dealing with international clearance and once that clears Kim will be a Cardiff City player.” Kim is a fourth signing for manager Malky Mackay this summer, following Jordon Mutch, goalkeeper Joe Lewis and Slovenian striker Etien Velikonja, and he is keen to add another three or four more between now and the end of the transfer window next month. The new signing visited Cardiff City Stadium and the club’s Vale of Glamorgan Resort training ground, completing a full medical before the transfer was agreed. Kim is now with the South Korean Olympic squad and their opening group match is against Mexico in Newcastle this Thursday (2.30pm). “There were other teams in Europe who wanted to sign me, but we agreed on Cardiff City and that’s where I will be playing next season,” says Kim, who will link up with the Bluebirds as soon as his Olympic commitments are over. This is getting frustrating. International clearances don't take this long particularly as he is an established international. Either it is held up until the Olympics are over for his team or he is playing the slippry ferret. I hope it is not the latter.
I remember when i was in the Royal Navy, we had to go to Nepal, international clearances took an absolute age, quite similar to also going on hols to the Good old U S of A, thier visa's take a while. Be patient it will happen.
