He was bought to cover in for the players injured in our next 3-6 games, so when people say he's only injured for these 6 games but will be back later, are intentionally ignoring and twisting the reality. Ramsey-Flamini are all back after next 6 games, Flamini before, so why would Wenger feel the need to buy then? Shows how even by the silly made up logic they've used, it still fails. Wenger made it clear he wanted to bring in 1 new midfielder to make up for the current missing players of Ramsey-Flamini, so yes, this has been a farce, because the player that was brought in to make up for the injured midfielders out for the next month, himself is going to be injured.
Given that they where aware of his injury during the medical we can pretty safely say that the decision to bring him in ultimately was with the thought that he can cover for the rest of the season. I think we wanted cover for the next handful of games in particular but our injuries will last beyond that. Up until he had the medical we had no way of knowing he wouldn't provide us cover for the next 6 games and once we knew it wasthe case of get him and have him as cover after his injury or don't get him and get no-one in.
They might have been aware of the injury but just now finding out the extent. Can't imagine they knew it would be as bad as 6 games out.
I've met SJW in real life and I can tell you that there is more than a passing resemblance to Bruce Banner
All I can say about Cym is that he looks like a cross between Sheriff JW Pepper and The only Gay in the village... and I'm trying to be kind
Do you remember that old thread that had pictures of what people thought everybody on here looked like ? That had me in ****ing stitches for ages. Might have to dig it up
My missus is watching the film Beyond The Candelabra. You have more than a passing resemblance to Liberace,in mannerisms as well as looks
Can we cancel the loan now? There is zero point keeping someone around if they're not even fit for 3 months, by which time he won't even be needed. What the **** was Wenger thinking? Oh wait, he wasn't.
Last i had checked he was out for 6 games not 3 months, unless there has been a new development in the story? If so then it's obvious we where not aware the extent of his problem prior to the loan.... Hardly a reason to throw a strop...
We clearly only found out about the injury at the medical and believed it to be a small injury. It was at a point where the choice was either sign him, let him recover ad have him for cover for the rest of the season or get no-one in. Seems a pretty straight forward choice when finding out about the injury at the last minute. And there are tosn of examples of injured players being signed. Infact no-one had an issue with Draxler being out injured and us wanting to sign him...
If he's out for 6 games, I'd get rid of him, we got him to cover for these games, if he's not going to, then he should **** off. After 6 games Flamini will be back, and Ramsey could be back too, or he will be very close to being back, and there isn't any problems or lack of midfielders anymore. Strom was brought in as cover for NOW, not 6 games from now, to cover in for the players currently out, such as Flamini-Ramsey.
So Draxler is in the same cateogry of Strom? If you gave us the opportunity to sign an injured Messi, we'd sign him, because when he is fit, he is going to bring so much to the table, you guys seriously need to stop using the worst of the worst comparisons.
