O/T Rebel would you recommend The Tower Hotel in Derry?I'm thinking of a couple of days there and then head to Donegal.
Yeah, it's nice and central. Handy for everything. I stayed there a couple of times and the staff were great. Parking isn't the handiest but if you can get the car in you are well set.

Wrong week to come. Prices might be better because the Fleadh is on the week after. Thinks are going mental price wise for that, they are flier-ing houses to ask old to go on holiday for a week to let people stay in their house in exchange for cash money. The Apprentice boys are out in the 10th this year. Always a bit of small scale rioting. I've seen posters up for the Foyle folk festival but I think that is only on at one or two venues. That is the 3-4th I think. The city hotel is handy too. I don't know what the difference is price wise.
I stayed in the Tower hotel the night of an apprentice boys parade, the place was full of angry Scotch who had no idea why they were there. I had a great view of the mini riot that ensued. Great craic.
