But one thing that hasnt been mentioned is that managers are largely retired players, and the current group of managers are mostly from the era when racism was at its worst, and black players were not so common, so there are less black players to go on to become managers.
One women on the telly did so speech on TV once about how there has never been a black PL managers, even though we have had Chris Houghton, Paul Ince and Ruud Hullit.
I can see Ledley King, Sol Campbell, Patrick Viera, and probably many other I cannot think of on the spot becoming good managers.
