If I was the chairman of the club I would be looking into the possiblity of seeing if a ban could be imposed on Kia Joorabchian from any property own by M.C.F.C. in this country. This guy is only in football so that he can hobknob with the elite, he dosesn't care anything about his players that he is suppose to advise, it is time F.I.F.A. and U.E.F.A. had some bottle and say that this guy is not weclome in any football club in the world.
I think that even for a footballer Tevez is remarkably stupid, Joorabchian may have got him a lot of money but surely Tevez should be able to see that his career is being sabotaged.
Well he is a good player, and Corinthians may have pretty short memories. Then again, clubs are often quite quick to forgive past players, especially if the manager has changed. Who'd have thought Liverpool would take Bellamy back after the golf club incident? True, but then Tevez does come from one of the most disadvantaged parts of Argentina so he's probably not all that street smart when it comes to the whole agent thing. Much like Rooney getting misled by Paul Stretford, and any celebrity whose agent convinced them that "I'm a celebrity get me out of here" is going to relaunch their career. For some reason people with great talents in some areas often seem completely lacking in basic judgement, skill or intelligence in others and just seem to blindly follow whatever their agent (or other "person in the know" tells them). Maybe it's a genetic thing?
I have a solution to two problems in football. We take Kia Joorabchian and KPR and make them fight to the death. Problem solved.
"Ramires completed his move to Chelsea on 13 August 2010 on a four year contract for a reported fee of £17million. It is thought that Joorabchian would receive £6m of this fee " Fair to say he is not in football for the good of players' careers
When you put it like that it seems he never had a chance which is sad really. I'm still not convinced though that he hasn't realised that he is being badly advised when he sees the news or whatever, but then again like a lot of footballers he might be so far detached from reality that he doesn't look at those types of things.
I think he probably feels he owes Joorabchian something. After all, when Joorabchian came along in 2005 he was at Boca, two years later he was at Utd. Maybe Tevez doesn't realise that he could have got there on his own, after all most of his old Boca teammates probably aren't doing half as well as him. It's similar to Rooney - he still claims that he owes all the success of his career to Paul Stretford, which is probably why he followed Stretford's advice so blindly when negotiating with Utd last year. It almost seems like a bizarre, backwards version of Stockholm syndrome. Tevez, Rooney and so many other footballers get so used to their agents handling everything and basically throwing money at them whilst constantly telling them how great they are that they are soon prisoners, without even realising it. Those agents can tell them who to play for, what transfer moves to make, when to make transfer requests, and the footballers are so used to following the agent that they don't even question it any more.
I was under the impression that he was a big star at Boca and it was only a matter of time before a big European club came in for him?
robin footballlers become footballers because the vast majority of them are that stupid that they can't negoiate a contract on their own, they need someone there to help them. I put this ? to would you pay someone say 10% of your wages each week for talking to your boss about a wage rise if you got 1, surely you would do it on your own. Well thats why footballers employ agents because they are not clever enough to negoiate their own wages.
