cant see this unless its for personal reasons, he is a valuable player for us. I will find out in the morning what the score is with ki.
I did see him training on his own last week. But that was before the Man U game where he came on as a sub. I assumed he was just putting some extra work in to get over an injury.
In his position - Britton, canas, jdg and shelvey. From that lot ki is 5th choice from a possible 2 spaces. Maybe he just wants to go get some game time. Strange that we would loan to a direct rival though, why we would strengthen their team without us getting nothing in return is beyond me. Unless they are paying handsomely to loan.
The Mail are saying that it is a loan deal, with an option to buy for £6 Million? Seems we are ditching him for Shelvey, must admit I'm a tad disappointed with this as it seems he's moving out of the Liberty according to the Mail!.................. I have criticised him for his lack of "dog" but I wouldn't want to lose him. He hasn't had a fair chance in his favoured position as an AM and I would like to see how he goes there. On the other hand, Laudrup and the other coaches see him everyday in training so we have to trust their judgement.
I would be sad if he left. We still haven't seen his full potential and imo he's more than good enough and talented enough to challenge for a start in the Swansea midfield. Maybe the problem is his attitude.
No, the deal was already agreed before laudrup joined us, it was done with our own scouts/jenkins and not laudrups scout Larsen. He was signed as a future investment for us and a player that would have been a direct replacement for joe allen. Laudrup went and brought in JDG to play that role instead , and has favoured him over ki ever since
No, you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me to you to me , then we score simple.
yes i have been told he is on his way out of the club because laudrup cant guarantee him first team football like he can guarantee players like michu, bony and the like. It looks like its a loan but could be sold at the end of the season if the price is right....
I read somewhere this morning that he has fallen out with Laudrup at the end of last season (think I found it through news now swansea - maybe a korean paper). He is a decent player but I honestly think Leon, Canas and Shelvey are better players. I would rather Ki over JDG though.
Ki was on the bench and played against United. Obviously he is thought highly enough of to be in that position. Let's see where he is with respect to the Spurs match.
we need a squad and Ki fits into that squad. We will need him this season along with the rest of the players. we also have to realise that leon isnt getting any younger. I think ki is an asset and want him at the club. That along with the revenue that his presence in the squad brings in. Wouldnt want him coming back and scoring the winner for any club.
