I can see it mate. He was instrumental in getting us to that final though. I'm glad it's not my decision.

It wasn't a direct comment at you, your post hadn't been published when I started typing, just picking up on another dig at his attitude in the hope it could be discussed. I'm just really don't get some of the ill feeling towards Ki. It it seems like there's a split between those not holding something against him and those who are. just seems a big section of our fan base are holding something against him, It just puzzled as so many forgive Bardsley, yet Ki has become some kind of villain through distorted versions of a story from the press.

The lad has all the attributes Poyet if looking for. It looks like we're not interested so maybe Poyet has a problem with his attitude which would be a shame, especially as Poyet takes me as a coach who could handle difficult players and get the best out of them. I'd hope it doesn't mean If Connor shows more problems that Gus will wash his hands of him.

Football is full of arseholes with bad attitudes, many of these are very good players. Do we never sign them because of this? Even if we have a coach that could get the best out them? Think we could miss out on a lot of talent with such fussy specifications.

Do you know why he went missing? Is it not possible that his injury was hampering him so much that the other options had become better? He was injured, no doubt, the club confirmed it. It's about the only thing in the many different press variations that we know to be true. Everything else we just don't know. Benefit of the doubt is fair.

When he was ****, there were 4 other CM's in and out the team who were just as dreadful, dark times where the blame can't be blamed on one man with an injury.

He's the perfect replacement for Colback. Better range of passing, greater scope.

He didn't 'go missing', he was injured! Players do lose form at times and he suffered that late on.

The 'when the going got tough' accusation is wrong IMO. We were in a relegation scrap from day 1 and we had a run to the cup final. The going was always tough! We arguably didn't have a pressure free game all year. Don't forget Ki was important and influential in most of them.

He's class. He's suited to us. He's available. He'd probably come. £1.5m??? I wouldn't hesitate for a second. I'd say he's worth significantly more to us
