I see what you are saying, Dai, but sometimes opinion does fly in the face of facts. It wouldn't do if we all agreed though, otherwise there would be nothing for us to debate/argue/quarrel about.

Doesn't it depend on what the opinion is? If it's my opinion that we should stay out of military action in Syria at all costs that doesn't make me right. Many people hold the opposite view for, as they see it, valid reasons which I understand. However if I hold the opinion that the Titanic never sank and it was a huge hoax I'd be just plain wrong because it flies in the face of the evidence and common sense. People hold opinions that are wrong all the time.

Not necessarily Dai - opinions can become fact! Going with your Titanic analogy - one opinion was that it was unsinkable, another said that that was rubbish - the latter opinion became fact!
how can something that can be proved with evidence and fact be an opinion. If there was no evidence then yes it can be an personal opinion. They be saying next that the holocaust never happened.

Despite describing him as a shirt salesman, I actually don't mind Ki. I think he's a decent player, although I do still insist on retaining the option to look at people suggesting he start ahead of JdG like they've just advocated bombing an orphanage.
