What I love about this transfer is that dropping down a division and worse still, playing for the ham is preferable to premier league football under pardew. Nolan, your credit is good with Sir Percy....
I think JFH went to Cardiff after us and did the same there, I know he took some stick from the North stand on his return to the Valley...."we want our money back" was one of the more pleasant chants....He was pretty disinterested all that game, I think he was subbed in the 2nd half and the sprint to the tunnel was probably the fasted he'd moved all day...!
Alan Pardew seems hell-bent on getting rid of the English contingent at Newcastle (namely Nolan and Barton) which has served the club so well in getting back to and stabilising in the Premier League and replacing it with expensive imports. Nolan will be a big loss to the Toon, and his goalscoring exploits will probably help the Hammers back up straight away.
How on earth can West Ham still afford to pay so much though?
