However if you can claim that the Fletcher free kick and the Seb volley weren't chances then I have to say you're saying that just to support your argument. When all said and done none of those chances, in the entire 2nd half, were as good as Borini's were they? You must know, it was right in front of where you sit.
I agree the Borini chance was our best chance in the second half & fletcher free kick wasn't a chance in my eyes because he has never scored a free kick before. Seb should of took it. Anyway I'm off out so all the best pal.

I cant remember being so nervous about a game in a long time not even the Mags game. I kind of feel this is the one for me to see if we have the fight to get out of the situation we are in. I have watched Stoke closely in the last few weeks and they are useless. Im not saying you are a bad team, before some Stoke fan kicks off but just the general play and defending has been really poor. They do have a goal in them though and I could see us dominating for 90 mins this weekend and coming away well beaten because of this. I think if somebody offered me a draw right now id take it.
It's always a tough game at Stoke, and they do have a very supportive home crowd these days, so a draw would certainly not be the end of the world. However, I do have a good feeling about this game, and expect I will be celebrating around the pubs of Hanley on Saturday night..

We're not in the bottom 3 last time I checked! ENJOY the game but I hope not the result, our defending is awful at the minute but as said.... we are scoring goals now. Would I be happy with a pt as a Stoke fan. NO we're due a win and a winning performance at home. We have played well, but without getting the reward this season. Utd, Fulham we battered for most of the game and got done by slopping defending. IF we sort that out I think it will be a good game tomorrow. All the best but not this weekend.
Should be an interesting game, you've not won for a while and I don't think Hughes will risk playing too cautiously at home. We're in decent form and need to win an away game, we have Stoke, Villa & West Ham in our next three and Poyet has indicated he's going for wins. I was at Stoke when snow covered the pitch and we won ....... I'll be hoping to see a free flakes before kick off as an omen
