Kent derbies

How long has it been since there was another Kent side in the League? The reason I am asking is now that Dartford have joined Ebbsfleet in the Conference Premier, a promotion for either (or both) teams next season could mean future Kent derbies to look forward to.

Bernie, Maidstone United were the last other Kent Club to be in the league, they went out of business in 1992, having been promoted in 1989 after winning the conference, the Gills were also in Division 4 at the time and the derbies were keenly contested and all sell outs, Maidstone actually played at Dartford.

I don't want to see a Kent derby in 2013/14 that involves Gillingham !

Well as much as I would like to see us play one of the kent sides in the league in 13-14 I expect that we will get promotion so there will be a league between us 2 but it would be good for Kent to see another side in the football league, however I like to say I do like us being the Kings of Kent.
