Sad to see him go. If only for the 24 (or was it 23) clean sheets in our Championship winning season. It was always going to be different in the EPL simply because our defence was more likely to be compromised more often.
He's a top keeper , with not long left in his career , do you think it fair to expect him to waste it on our bench? Hence my " Goodbye and thank you " thread , which believe me I wish I never started now!
I don't know about fair, it's a career. Tbh I've got even more respect for him if he's seeking first team football at a lower level rather than settling for a premiership bench which so many would. I'd wish him every success and many thanks for being instrumental in our promotion.
Finally, so now you admit we've got a player who wants to leave, and a club who wants to sell, throw lots of interested clubs in the mix, and how does that end up? As soon as Green signed he was a QPR player in name only.
In really not sure what I've admitted?? I thought we were agreeing and brings me to my original position. He will prob go, hasn't yet, but if stays makes a great 2. I need a beer!
If I were Paddy I'd go. It's a bit like somebody in your own place of work being promoted over your head and you're expected to smile and carry on as normal. Paddy is too good for that. Cerny is obviously quite happy to be the bench warmer, so good luck Paddy.
